I’ve worked with hair for… over twenty years.

I’m an expert in…  sculpting short barber-inspired hair and working with textured hair of all lengths—the bigger/longer the better when it comes to curls!

I chose to open Logan Parlor because… I wanted to have a space that I could feel safe, seen, and celebrated in, and I didn’t find that anywhere else. I wanted to go to work every day and be my authentic self so that my guests are comfortable enough to be their authentic selves as well. I’m inspired by…  interesting shapes, other people, and especially the colors and shapes found in nature.

Keli Wriston / She/They / @keliwriston

Keli (she/her) is our Lead Educator in our haircolor department. Keli is an established stylist and master colorist with over 20 years experience. Her leadership in the industry  benefits the Logan Parlor team. Keli will mindfully work with you to understand your needs and take you on a journey where you get to live out your best hair color application dreams! She always considers face shape, skin tone, budget, and maintenance while educating about the formulation and application that goes into the perfect color.

You will have nothing but good times in Kelis programs. You can also talk to Keli about yoga, being vegan, her lifestyle and nutrition coaching business, and her hound dogs!

Sadie / She/Her / Level 4 Stylist & Barber / Taurus / @sadiebenninghair

My hair journey started… in 2015. I’ve worked with hair professionally for 9 years!

My favorite service to do is…  I love doing a wide variety of services but right now particularly bright fashion colors, lived in color, grey blending, and all lengths of creative and classic cuts!

I’d like to do more… extensions, specifically for pops of color, rat tails and mullets. Always any unique and creative concepts.

I’m inspired by… nature, the community, and Pinterest!

My hair care secret is… a good scalp treatment! All hair care starts at the scalp.

My personal style is… constantly changing but always maximalist vintage with a little edge.

You’ve gotta try…Eleven I Want Body Texture Spray! Such a unique, multifunctional product great for many hair types.

I work at Logan Parlor because… I love the neighborhood, the vintage decor, and my coworkers!

My hobby is… hanging out with my cat Ladybird and watching all the latest TV series!

Claudia / They/Them /  Level 2 Stylist / @claudiahalinahair/

Claudia Halina is a hairstylist and emerging educator passionate about creating a more inclusive and affirming beauty industry. With a background in hair and makeup for video and photo shoots, they bring hands-on experience and a creative approach to their work. As a member of the Hair Has No Gender advisory board, Claudia is committed to challenging traditional beauty norms and fostering safer, more inclusive spaces for all.

As they step into the world of education, Claudia is actively developing their facilitation skills to better teach and support fellow beauty professionals. Their goal is to empower others with the knowledge and confidence to serve diverse clients with skill, respect, and authenticity.

Before embarking on their cosmetology journey, Claudia studied game art and programming, showing a diverse skill set and creative background. They then worked as a florist, where they further honed their artistic abilities, before transitioning into the world of beauty.

A firm believer in embracing new opportunities, Claudia is inspired by RuPaul’s words: “So many times people are afraid to start something because of fear of failing. But it can be fabulous because it leads you to the next thing.”

My favorite service to do is… shaved head designs. Check my Instagram if you want to see what that’s about. You won’t regret it.

I’d like to do more… funky fresh vivid colors and gender affirming looks!

My best hair care tip is… get a shower filter! Your hair and skin will love you.

My favorite movie series… Spider-Verse

My favorite colors… Red, black, and gold.

My hobbies are… avant-garde hair and makeup, video games, being a hooligan(respectfully), floristry, art, technology, effing around and finding out.

Kat / She/Her / Aries /  Level 3 Stylist / @kat.at.loganparlor

Coincidentally, my favorite game to play as a kid was ‘Teacher’ and although I never pursued that career as an adult,  I’ve managed to circle back. I’m excited to embark on my facilitator journey at Logan Parlor! I’ve always been inclined to help people and do what I can to make people’s lives easier. My goal as a mentor is to provide a pressure-free and chill space be able to answer the questions &  challenges you face behind the chair. We learn from our mistakes, so if they’re inevitable, we might as well have fun while makin’ ’em. 🙂

I like to do… Lived-in color, vivids, and covering sparklies(gray hair). Bobs and mid/long layered cuts!

My best hair care tip… Use dry shampoo before bed on CLEAN hair! It works as an oil preventative!

My personal style is… if kitsch, elevated casual, and alternative flair had a baby.

My fav movie… Ever After, a 1998 classic. Practical Magic is also a close second!

You gotta try… Iron Shape(Thermal Spray) 11. SO versatile. Protects hair from heat, gives volume, and provides hold.

My hobbies are… crocheting, chatting about life, and antiquing.
