I chose to open Logan Parlor because… I wanted to have a space that I could feel safe, seen, and celebrated in, and I didn’t find that anywhere else. I wanted to go to work every day and be my authentic self so that my guests are comfortable enough to be their authentic selves as well.

Talk to me about… meditation, yoga, spirituality, tarot cards, woo-woo stuff, poodles. 

My favorite movie… A Bronx Tale. 

My motto is… love many, trust few, and always paddle your own canoe! 

My hobbies are… hiking, meditation, spending time with my dogs, and reading.

My favorite service to do is…  I love doing a wide variety of services but right now particularly bright fashion colors, lived in color, grey blending, and all lengths of creative and classic cuts!

I’d like to do more… extensions, specifically for pops of color, rat tails and mullets. Always any unique and creative concepts.

My hair care secret is… a good scalp treatment! All hair care starts at the scalp.

My personal style is… constantly changing but always maximalist vintage with a little edge.

With three years of experience in the beauty industry, Claudia is a talented cosmetologist specializing in hair and makeup. Known for their edgy and alternative style, they bring a unique flair to every client they work with.

Before embarking on their cosmetology journey, Claudia studied game art and programming, showing a diverse skill set and creative background. They then worked as a florist, where they further honed their artistic abilities, before transitioning into the world of beauty.

Claudia is passionate about their work with Hair Has No Gender, a not-for-profit, founded by Jamie DiGrazia. Ask them about it!

I’m inspired by… mostly, the people around me. My friends, my co-workers, and definitely my favorite artists— of all categories! Sometimes I’ll even emulate an outfit or hairstyle I saw in a movie or music video

My best hair care tip is… next time you reach for dry shampoo, try brushing your hair with a boar bristle brush and sleeping on it. Regularly doing this can replace the need for excess product!

My personal style is… ever-changing and wildly swinging from high-femme to androgynous by the day. Big inspirations from the 80s, 90s, punk/grunge; I’m currently loving the ‘indie sleaze’ comeback

You’ve gotta try… Redken ABC leave-in! It’s essential for color processed hair.

I chose Logan Parlor because… I’ve never felt so welcomed and immediately accepted by a group of people. Not to mention the artistry taking place everywhere you look!
